Having chosen the “secondary” literary source, Andrej Rozman versified Grimm’s text, and
made it contemporarily fluent, adding the narrative rhymes. A disarmingly witty performance,
Waltl’s fairytale starts from explicitly dimensional characters that develop into generators of
the linear story focusing on the surroundings and the goal they must reach.
