The National ASSITEJ Centre of Serbia gives award for the best artistic achievemnt in the fifth TIBA Festival to the performance "Little Prince by the Malo Pozoriste "Dusko Radovic" from Belgrade.

ARGUMENTATION:

The basic idea that moves the whole performance is drawn from the clearly and sharply stated contrast between the adult`s world and the children`s world. On the other hand hybridization between the expressive means of the theatre for adults and children moves the limits of children theatre reflection and sets new, high standards, balancing between spectacular quality and the problem treatment of a theme. Above all, such a complexly appointed structure of a performance does not restrain the actors` play, but provides emotional identification for both the "young" and the "old" audience.

"Little Prince" stages the demanding reading, materijal, in the right way. And this reading introduces children with the abstract, philosophical way of thought through contemporary life experiences.
